Residential Interior Decoration

This This replica Queenslander consisted of small internalised living spaces and a long narrow rear deck that was obstructed by doors. The client’s initial brief was to update and add a larger kitchen but this would not have solved the other intertwined issues. Instead, we reclaimed the awkward deck, enlisting it to create a large light-filled living area with a big opening looking over the rear garden and pool. This gave the client the large kitchen she wanted, as well as ample living space for the entire family. With a love of all things retro, the hero materials became the green tile splashback paired with Tasmanian oak and white joinery.
