Interior Design
A full-scale renovation of a riverfront property situated on a prestigious Brisbane street. The client was drawn to an earthy, Mediterranean aesthetic to capture their love of travel.
A minimal palette was utilised with an array of thoughtfully curated textures to enhance the warm and inviting ambience throughout. Natural travertine was rounded and concaved to give the illusion of softness. Oversized bullnose architraves express openings, while Venetian plaster adds further subtlety to walls and ceilings.
Cabinetry was detailed in tribute to timberwork reminiscent of quintessential Mediterranean architecture, from light oak to white-grained shutter profiles.
The generously appointed family home has a relaxed yet sophisticated presence, similar to that of a boutique hotel perched beside the European sea.
