Interior Design & Decoration
Working in collaboration with the project architect, the interiors reflected the tactility and form of brutalist and highly-contemporary design notes.
A breezy sanctuary drenched in natural light. The kitchen heroes timber grain and natural quartzite stone, fashioned in a minimal and simplistic form to build upon the seamless narrative of the home. The expansive double-height void over the living area was detailed with oversized light fittings to draw the eye upward, enhancing the sense of space.
Subtle curves throughout the base build were layered to cabinetry detail and fixture selections to deliver unexpected softness to the brutalist undertone of the architecture. The interior finishes we selected to enhance the thoughtfully designed architecture. Layering warmth through textural elements to ground airy, over-height spaces.
The limestone selected for the primary ensuite balances intricately warm and cool tones, while the highly textured Japanese finger tiles reference the ‘raw’ materiality of the structure.
