Commercial Interior Design
Cg Design Studio was engaged to be the creative lead on the refurbishment of the Ramada Resort by Wyndham in the iconic North Queensland town of Port Douglas.
The location and the natural beauty in which it encompasses, was the drive behind the direction of the design concept.
A neutral palette of natural fibres and materials reference the beauty of the surrounding Daintree Rainforest, while the introduction of marine accents capture the seascape that makes Port Douglas a desirable holiday destination.
The scheme, although modest, creates a much needed injection of cohesion and personality reflective of the surrounding environment. The overall feel will be relaxed and familiar; a luxe tropical beach abode for guests to unwind and rejuvenate.
